From the Commodore: — Well the sailing season is underway after a strange spring we really didn’t have. Our
first on the water event was a huge success with 4 boats showing up in Huntington and 20 people joining for the
dinner at the Huntington Yacht Club. A fun time was had by all – as you can see from the pictures. Please make
an effort to join us at our upcoming on-the-water events described below by the Rear Commodore. We want to
continue the fun throughout the season, and ——– the more, the merrier.

Well, by the time everyone gets this hopefully we will be recovering from a long and hard winter and starting to stir from a long hibernation (except for those skiers who have enjoyed a great ski season). I didn’t make it down to my boat as often as I would have liked this winter but on the few occasions that I did, she was riding well in her slip, still mostly covered with the canvas cover I luckily decided to use once again this winter.
