The New York Sailing Club is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1970 which promotes, organizes and oversees sailboat activities, including racing in and around New York City and on the Long Island Sound. We are recreational sailors who hold socials and cooperate with other organizations to encourage and promote the sport of sailing. The New York Sailing Club is a virtual club with no owned facilities but with many yacht club and social organization affiliations located within the metropolitan New York City, and is a member of the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing).
